Uses: After many requests by growers for a larger volume #4 pot, while maintaining the same amount of greenhouse shelf space, the #4 Square Tall is now available. This size is optimal for vegetables that need more time in the greenhouse before transplanting to the field, like peppers, tomatoes and eggplant. This is also a closer match to the standard pot size used for perennials and herbs.

Shelf life: Once planted, the #4 Square Tall stays intact for up to 4 months in a greenhouse setting.

If not planted and kept in a cool dry location, shelf life is indefinite (a dry location is critical).
