Dowflake Xtra Calcium Chloride is made for ice melting, dust control, concrete acceleration and many other applications. Less Dowflake is needed due to it’s higher concentration then conventional calcium chloride products. When you apply this product to unpaved surfaces it reduces dust because it absorbs the moisture which keeps the surface wet and holds the dust to the gravel. When you add to concrete it increases the strength and protects in cold weather.
